| I'm back
dating this to the 30th even though today is the 4th of October
because the photos are from September. Tulia has changed
yet again. We went to a San Jose community festival.
She got to check out a horse and play on the playground.
Tulia has started climbing everything. Tulia points at
things she wants and if she doesn't get them, she throws a
tantrum. She is eating finger foods now and will
occasionally eat what we are eating. Tulia also cut her
first tooth. I tried to get a close up but it didn't turn
out. Tulia also says "sat" as what's that... Tulia also
switched from two naps a day to one!!! That was a huge
step. My mom taught her to clap her hands then cover her
ears on command in Chinese!!! It was amazing. Tulia
will stand on her own for a few seconds as well... |

| Just
yesterday Tulia was able to stand on her own for a few seconds.
It's really amazing to see her progress this fast. She is
now eating real food (soft cut up foods) like green beans,
cheerios, banana, peaches, pears, rice, etc... It's also amazing
how strong she is now. (see picture of her holding herself
up on the foot of the bed.) I converted the BOB stroller
that we have into a bike trailer. I widened the axel by
50% and fabricated a front bike mount with the help of Todd.
The front mount uses parts from a mount kit for another trailer
brand, but also with custom fabbed pieces. Tulia enjoys
riding in the back, because she gets to see dad work his but
off. We are also starting to teach her how to sign basic
needs like food, sleep, etc... Tulia talks quite a bit
now. In addition to saying dada, baba, mama, and dit, dit
,dit, she also says wsssttt. (baby for what's that)
She really says that when she sees something interesting.
She also now waves at people that wave to her. I know I
promised some video, so for now here is some camera phone
video. The quality is bad, but their cute anyway. I
will get the good stuff on soon. Promise.
