Long haul truckin

I picked up a Surly Long Haul Trucker. It will serve as a commuter and as the name implies, a Long distance machine. I've set a goal to do a century ride. Not competitively but just to complete one.

I've been reading various blogs of people riding around the world or across China and wherever else. This intrigues me. I would like to do something like this...

Maybe when the kids get a little older.

As for now, I have taken a vow to go by bike as much as possible. Meanwhile I am waiting for the Surly Big Dummy frame. More on that later..
